Directorate of Administration and Finance

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advise the Executive Director and Board of Directors on all administrative and financial operations of the council.
  • Advise on all administrative and human resources activities;
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of publishing of council documents and its financial and administrative operations;
  • Ensure that day to day management and administrative operations of the council are run smoothly.
  • Ensures that all financial policies and procedures are followed by the council;
  • Carry on supervision of the finance and accounting Operations for the Council;
  • Facilitate in the development of institution’s Budgets and long term strategic financial plans;
  • Preparation of annual operating and capital budgets for the Council;
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements and reports;
  • Ensure timely preparation and payment of taxes to RRA and furnishing other state enterprises with information as may be required by law;
  • Advise the Executive Director on budget requirements and adjustments;
  • Prepare all reports related to administration and human resources
  • Provide support services to all operations of the Council.
